You are on the upstairs landing, at the top of a winding staircase. Right in front of you is the door to Maarten's room.
On the far side of the landing is another door, leading to Ruud's room.
One wall of the landing is completely taken up by shelves full of clothing. The only place where there is no shelves is where a fridge sits, with a microwave on top.
Between the clothing you can see a small roof window, giving you a view of the neighbour's roof.
Next to that is overly full coat rack. The floor is littered with shoes.
The entire ceiling is covered in clothes lines. There must be at least 20 spanning the entire width of the room.
